Reward offered for designers of April Fool’s Day worm

Conficker, a malicious self-replicating computer worm that affects security functions on computers, was first detected in October 2008. It is also known as Kido, Downup and Downadup. The worm targets computers running on Windows operating systems, specifically Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7 Beta; and servers running on Windows Server 2003, 2008 or 2008 Revision 2 Beta by disabling access to antivirus programs or Web sites known for providing computer security services. New SOC-BBC Executive Board elected

By: Barbara Quijano / Assistant News Director The Student Organizations Council has chosen their new executive board for the 2009-2010 school year, giving the new ensemble the opportunity to lead an array of student clubs at the Biscayne Bay Campus. SOC’s elections meeting was held on April 6 at 2 p.m. to choose the new e-board members, which include the president, vice president, events coordinator, marketing coordinator, treasurer and secretary. Voting took place among e-board members, excluding the president, along with representatives from organizations at BBC, including On Point Poetry, AdScene, Stonewall and Campus Crusade for Christ: Impact Movement. So much, that I come home just to pre-nap before my bedtime. As soon as April is over, I don’t want to see my friend PowerPoint for a while. What I want is a nice glass of wine. But what pairs well with summer time and our pockets?
