Outfielder signs with Mariners, Ebert verbally commits to Red Sox

Starting pitcher Tom Ebert verbally committed to sign with the Boston Red Sox, and outfielder Greg Waddell opted to sign with the Seattle Mariners last night. “I just wanted to get my foot in the door,” Waddell said in a phone interview with Student Media. “School will be there.
