Students on campus diagnosed with mild strain of H1N1 virus

News Director According to a report by the Office of Media Relations, three University students have tested positive for a mild strain of the H1N1 virus, otherwise known as Swine Flu. Miami-Dade Health Department officials notified University Health Services on July 9 regarding the infected students. “We are taking swift action to limit the spread of this illness but fortunately we are dealing with a very mild strain of the virus,” said Oscar Loynaz, interim director of University Health Services in an interview with the Office of Media Relations.
